Every day, in some part of the world, someone somewhere is facing unemployment. Perhaps he is still working, but know his position is in jeopardy.

There's nothing worse than facing unemployment and having nothing to back you up. Unless you have a job that is secure for life, you should always take steps to guard yourself against the possibility that one day you will be unemployed.
